Every year Dagens Industri and it´s monthly magazine Diego designates Sweden’s fastest growing young company with a CEO younger than 40 years old. The grand prize is named after a swift animal able to reach high speeds – the gazelle. Activio wins this years young gazelle award!
We receive another proof on the fact that new technology combined with traditional forms of exercise increases the motivation, effectiveness and loyalty among members. Also, a greater experience of exercise is made possible.
- We are incredibly proud and happy for the award. It is a proof that we this far have made much right. But it is also and foremost a proof of customer satisfaction. Everyone using the Activio system is the real winner, making heart rate based exercise part of daily practice confirm the insight that we do have many needs in common. One is that everyone loves and needs simple smart feedback on their exercise. We want to extend a great thank you to instructors, members, retailers, customers and our staff, says Daniel Magnergard, CEO Activio AB.
We want to send a special gratitude to the following persons who believed in us from start and helped us to success: ALMI, Fredrik Jansson at Handelsbanken, Sten Wikander och Paul Balsom.
Facts about Activio AB: Founded in 2003, about 200 systems installed in 10 countries, growth: 311 %.

Life goes on after FIBO, if in a bit slower and with a bit lower level of energy. Everybody needs a bit of time to recharge after an event that is so full of energy, enthusiasm and, yes, swett. After all, it is an event about fitness. And were there is work there will be perspiration. But also inspiration. All the meetings and people that we connected with at FIBO 2008 was a pure pleasure. We are trying to reach each one of you with a letter to extend our Thank you! If we don’t manage to reach you in that way we would like to send a Thank You to you via this blog, once again.
However, the energy and positive force will flow from and within the Activio team, costumers and users very soon again. Today Daniel and Tom were interviewed by a well known Swedish TV-Channel. We will announce when and were you will be able to watch the interview and the reason for the attention as well.
If you have access to TV8 in Sweden you may have seen the interview with Activio. If not you may watch a rerun online at Di TV. However it is in Swedish only.

Experiencing FIBO 2008 is to have a tremendous amount of impressions. What will stay and be carried along with us is all the pictures of exhibits, people and things picked up during FIBO. So, lets dwell on all those pictures from Activio’s stand D18. And most of all the Team Activios amazing effort to put on a great show on the top of every hour during FIBO. With great speed and positive spirits they help to boost the audience impression of Activio’s heart rate measure system at work. To see and believe for you self how heart rate based group training works beats everything else. The audience gathered each time Team Activio launched a new demo and here are some great pictures to view and share with you.
Enjoy!

Activio has landed at this years FIBO. It is a crowded place. And every time Activio launches one of the demos it is a showstopper. The audience freezes in their footsteps and watch the team speed of on their bikes.
Its a grand exhibit this year at FIBO. The place is packed with companies showcasing their products and services. Monika Björn and Matthew Griffiths are doing a great job to put on a show. And Oh what a team we have here.
More from FIBO is coming your way.
