It is dual commitment for Activio over the weekend. First, The Academy in Stockholm, and then also the Nike Convention in Danish town Hillerød.

At this weekend’s Nike Convention, as many as 650 participants will gather! And Activio will present several sessions at this convention. If you travel to Hilleröd you will meet the well known instructor Brian Overkaer, from Cycling Online, as the coach of spinning sessions with Activios world leading heart rate system. This Nike Convention is held in Frederiksborgcentret.
The Convention is aimed at those who are interested in the exercise, coaching, health and prevention training. The entire program can be found here.
Lykke til!

How to make the most out of exercise?
That was the question the danish top TV health show “Ha det godt” posed last week in their prime time broadcast. The answer? Make a mix for your exercise with these disciplines: Conventional jogging, Gymsticks and Activio heart rate based spinning. The show visited a session with Activios system up and running. For a good part of the program viewers could learn more about heart rate based training and Activios system. Please, check the webbcast version of the show. (aired on the 18 of March).

Prime time Danish TV Show covers spinners using Activio
We are both pleased and flattered by the attention. But even more important – the chance for more people to discover how great it is to know more about the bodies capabilities and what an unique guide the heart rate is for effective and motivational training.
Again, if you want to view the show -please visit Danish TV DR1s web page. And get your skills in the danish language going at the same time.
Health and fitness is Big in Denmark. The Danish Governments Secretary of health, Mr Jakob Axel Nielsen, is literally walking in the forefront to make Danes live a healthier life. The Secretary´s goal is to take 10.000 steps every day. Measuring every step with a pedometer. Also he is both logging and blogging about his progress online every day. We can only wish that he discovers how to measure his heart rate during exercise as well.

Many smalls steps for one man, but a great step for a healthier country
We wish Secretary Nielsen good luck an applaud him for making a great example out of himself. We do hope that he also logs on to Google Gmaps, to track and visualize those important positive steps even more.
